What is Spasticity?
Spasticity is a physical condition that occurs when certain nerve signals do not reach muscles. It's often described as tight, stiff muscles that make movement difficult or uncontrollable. Injury or disease of the central nervous system may cause spasticity. Examples include cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury.
