I joined this group yesterday & they immediately made me feel right at home. Who knew there was such a group out there? I stumbled across them accidentally & I'm so grateful I did! You need to pass a screening to get in. They are ONLY for people touched by TBI. This is what the group owner has on the home page:"This is a Community of Friends - Not just a mailing list. Welcome to "The Orange Grove" .... This is a cyber-community for familes touched by TBI (traumatic brain injury). This is a place for Caregivers and Survivors to offer each other encouragement and support. This is a place to vent, to learn from each other, to share a laugh, to not be judged and to know You/We are not alone. Also, that there are others who DO understand what you are going through. I am here because on July 18, 2001, my husband Michael was involved in a MVA on his way home from work. My husband is a Survivor. I am now a 24/7 Caregiver. This is also a place to share an "Orange" or two with friends and we ARE friends here. What is an "ORANGE"? This is any accomplishment of our survivors and/or caregivers. Any thing that they want to brag about. We need all the "oranges" we can get here. An "orange" may be very very small or it could be an enormous breakthrough or anything in between. We all want to share in YOUR "Oranges"." health.groups.yahoo.com/group/TheOrangeGrove/

Dawn, THIS LOOKS AWESOME! I am so happy you have found a place for you, with people who are farther down the path of recovery from TBI. That is what you truly need! I want to send a batch of oranges to YOU!
